SS303 is a stainless steel grade known for its excellent corrosion resistance and durability, making it ideal for fabricating gears, shafts, bushings, nuts and bolts, and aircraft fittings.

This grade contains 17% chromium, 8% nickel, and 0.15% sulfur, which enhances its machinability. However, the sulfur content prevents SS303 from being hardened through heat treatment.
